Endothelial Cell Growth Medium MV is a low-serum (5% V/V) medium developed for the in vitro cultivation of endothelial cells from microvascular vessels, the coronary artery, and the aorta.
Although all our media are optimized for use with primary human cells, we have received feedback from customers that this particular medium can also be used for bovine, porcine, murine, rat and dog endothelial cells from microvascular vessels as well as for various endothelial cell lines. Note: For best transfection results we recommend using our heparin-free Endothelial Cell Growth Medium MV2. Heparin, included in all our other Endothelial Cell Growth Media formulations, may reduce transfection efficiency.
Please note: Due to production reasons, we have changed the label on the basal medium bottle of our Ready-to-use growth media from “Growth Medium” to “Basal Medium”. This change only affects the label, the volume and formulation remain the same. Please note that the catalogue number on the basal medium bottle differs from that of the complete Ready-to-use growth medium.
