Human CD14+ Monocytes (hMoCD14+-PB), Cell Pellet in RNAlater
Cell pellet of hMoCD14+-PB from peripheral blood of single donors in RNAlater® for subsequent RNA, DNA or protein analysis.
Cell pellet consisting of 1 million cells dissolved in 200 µl RNAlater® for subsequent RNA, DNA or protein analysis.
Note: Cell pellets cannot be revived.
Isolated from fresh peripheral blood, our Human CD14+ Monocytes undergo a rigorous purification process to obtain an ultra-pure mononuclear cell fraction using proprietary methods. Following this, the CD14+ Monocytes are further isolated through positive selection, achieving a purity of over 95%.
Monocytes, recognized as immature phagocytic cells found circulating in the blood, fulfill a crucial role as antigen-presenting immune cells with the ability to phagocytize and degrade microbes and particulate matter. Additionally, these versatile cells possess the capacity to differentiate into various cell types.
Common applications include their use in in vitro differentiation into monocyte-derived dendritic cells (moDC) and osteoclasts, along with their role as phagocytic immune cells extensively employed in immunology and infection biology research.
