Human Follicle Dermal Papilla Cells (HFDPC), Cell Pellet in RNAlater
Cell pellet of HFDPC from human dermis of the scalp in RNAlater® for subsequent RNA, DNA or protein analysis.
Cell pellet consisting of 1 million cells dissolved in 200 µl RNAlater® for subsequent RNA, DNA or protein analysis.
Note: Cell pellets cannot be revived.
Our primary Human Follicle Dermal Papilla Cells (HFDPC) are obtained from the human dermis of the scalp, specifically from the occipital or temple region. Detailed information regarding donor hair and skin color can be provided upon request. These cells are characterized by their positive staining for alkaline phosphatase.
Dermal papillae, situated at the base of hair follicles within a matrix rich in laminin and collagen IV, play a crucial role in initiating and sustaining hair growth. Due to their possession of androgen receptors, they serve as effective tools for in vitro screening of androgen-blocking agents.
