Endothelial Cells

Endothelial cells form the innermost layer of blood vessels and regulate essential vascular functions, including blood flow, barrier integrity, and anticoagulant surface control. As key components of the vascular endothelium, they respond to angiogenic signals and mediate nitric oxide-dependent vasoregulation.

Primary human endothelial cells are widely used in vitro to study angiogenesis, vascular remodeling, and disease mechanisms relevant to cardiovascular and cancer research. At PromoCell, we offer cells from diverse vascular sources, such as umbilical vein (HUVEC), aorta (HAoEC), coronary artery (HCAEC), dermal microvasculature (HDMEC), and lymphatic endothelium, facilitating targeted model selection.

To support reproducible endothelial cell culture workflows under defined conditions, we provide culture media formulated for both large vessel and microvascular endothelial cell types.
