Our Growth Supplements are produced from bovine brain tissue, originating from countries having a negligible BSE risk. The Growth Supplements are aqueous protein extracts from mixed-sex bovine hypothalami (ECGS and ECGS/H). They are especially useful for the cultivation of different types of primary human cells under serum-reduced or serum-free conditions.
Endothelial Cell Growth Supplement (ECGS) is standardized to a protein content of 3 mg/ml.
