Fibroblasts

Fibroblasts are connective tissue cells that form the structural framework of many organs by producing and remodeling the extracellular matrix. Primary human fibroblasts are widely used in vitro to study wound healing, tissue repair, fibrotic processes, and stromal interactions with epithelial and immune cells. Because fibroblast behavior is highly context-dependent, well-defined culture conditions are essential for establishing reproducible models to study connective tissue biology and disease mechanisms.

At PromoCell, we provide primary human fibroblasts from multiple tissue sources, including dermal, lung, cardiac, and gingival tissues. We also offer a range of defined, animal component-free media formulations designed to support consistent fibroblast workflows under defined conditions in basic and translational research.
