Preadipocytes

Preadipocytes are precursor cells that are isolated from adipose tissue and can differentiate into mature adipocytes, making them essential models in adipocyte biology and metabolic research. Primary human preadipocytes are widely used in vitro to study adipocyte differentiation, lipid accumulation, insulin sensitivity, and mechanisms underlying obesity, diabetes, and metabolic homeostasis.
