Cartilage

At PromoCell, our portfolio includes cartilage-derived human primary cells and optimized media for cartilage research. You can work with human chondrocytes isolated from normal articular cartilage of the knee and hip joints. These cells produce and maintain the cartilage extracellular matrix, including collagen type II and aggrecan.

With these cells, you can study cartilage matrix production, chondrocyte behavior, and mechanisms involved in degenerative joint conditions. Their tested capacity to form 3D spheroids also supports 3D cell culture approaches for cartilage modeling. Our growth medium supports chondrocyte expansion and culture under controlled conditions.
