Our primary Human Chondrocytes (HCH) are obtained from human articular cartilage found in the knee and hip joints. They undergo routine testing to confirm their capability for 3D spheroid differentiation.

Articular cartilage, which coats the joints between bones, lacks blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, or nerve fibers. It consists solely of chondrocytes, specialized cells responsible for synthesizing and maintaining the cartilage's extracellular matrix, primarily composed of collagen (predominantly type II) and proteoglycans (mainly aggrecan).
