Our Macrophage Base Medium XF is the user-customizable version of the Macrophage Generation Media XF and does not include cytokines. It comes without cytokines as a universally applicable MDM culture system featuring a fully user-customizable macrophage differentiation and activation process.
Although all our media are optimized for use with primary human cells, we have received feedback from customers that this particular medium can also be used for murine macrophages. View a list of references where this medium was used with other species and cell types.

Note: Requires additional supplementation with M-CSF / GM-CSF.
